spent the day mostly sleeping and thinking of you. i am still in shock of what has happened friday night. just the same, i need that shock. a new month is just around the corner. time to start all over again and completely forget the craziness that was YOU!

im gonna be fine, ill be okay. i was used not having you in my life before and i will get used to not having you in it anymore. you said you started taking small steps getting out and i did too.

siguro hanggang dito na lang. hanggang dito na lang pala ang lahat coz reality would never let us experience what could have been.

Juan | Megi

All my bags are packed and I'm ready to go. In a few hours, I'll be leaving my hometown. makes me kinda sad. I'm leaving my family whom i missed so much.

Funny weather today though, PAG-ASA warned us of a super typhoon internationally named Megi and locally known as Juan. It is hitting Northern Luzon I'm glad to be back at South Tagalog by that but i wish my family will be safe.

I posted a picture of the 5 day forecast for the typhoon. I got this here and saw it on Anton Diaz's fb page. Hope all goes well for the coming days; No more mala-ondoy typhoons please! I hope disaster doesn't not strike again. landfall will be by tuesdayat Northern luzon.

Its Friday once a again. One more day and its weekend again! my vacation is almost up. Im happy but at the same time sad. i'll be leaving my family again but i'm meeting my friends and be back to my 'normal' working life.

made the most of my Friday. Woke up early and did some cardio exercise with my mom. Hopefully when im gone, she'll continue to make it a habit to do some exercises. Here is a picture of boats which is a trademark of Burnham park aside from the biking rink.

Also, its the start of the 3 day sale at a local mall. So my mom went to the mall early. we thought we were the first ones to go, boy, we were so wrong. lines were already long. A lot bought pillows, comforters, cooking pots, ceramics and a lot of linens. One can't resists this sales. All items are at discounted prices and another 10% off is added on top of that! Lessons learned today, survey the area before, go to the mall early, and hakot all your friends who are willing to help you out.

I had my check up up today with the ophthalmologist. All systems go for Monday. I am already fit to work! Yey! although there's still some redness left, he gave a go sign for me to go back to work.

Finally bought my new running shorts! Can't wait to use it on my next run. got it for 20% off the original price.

Went to 50's diner for our lunch. They are famous for their burgers and giant club sandwich. their bread patty is almost 6 inches by 6 inches and 1 in thick. I just consumed one fourth of it and one half of the diner's burger! yummy! I'm posting some pictures too!

Lastly, I updated my hair color! Same shade as before, hazel brown.

~I went into this game na hindi ko na alam kung pano tatapusin or titigilan. Siguro in time na lang. i dont know at ayaw ko ng isipin. ilang beses ko ng sinubukan pero talunan pa rin ako. Siguro umpisa pa lng hindi ko na alam ang rules. Pero sinu ba dapat ang magset ng rules. ako? Eh madaya ako eh! pWede ko itong baguhin kahit kelan ko gusto. Anyways, there is still an attempt to stop. And so far, success naman ang day 1.

~Sinusulit ko na lang nag natitirang 3 araw ng aking bakasyon. dahil sa Lunes, babalik na ako sa trabaho. Sangkatutak na trabho ang nag-aantay sa akin duon. Ok lang. Keri naman eh. Kelangan ko ng moolah. Hindi ko pa alam kung sapat ang aking sick leave. Pero aasikasuhin ko un. Kelangan ng pambayad sa mga SSS Phil at health insurance.

~Last minute shopping today. Hindi ko talaga mapigilan. Bought meds for heart and clothes too. I am so happy with my purchases. Plus i got them on thrift! yey for me again! Bought my hair dye, some clothes for work. Kelangan kong irampa ang sexy kong body! (sexy for my standards).

~I am loving my arms. they are not so toned yet but m planning too. thanks for my pamangkin who is almost 11kgs and wants to be always carried when we go out. i have this photo shoot for our fund raising .

~I am so missing my boyfriend. Its been 3 weeks already. this is the longest time we're not together. i miss the craziness. looking forward to that date he promised me. yey! Em a happy girl again.

~Everything happens for a reason they say. And its true. the reason for my being sick is to have some quality time with my family. i have been working away for more than 4 years now. This is the longest time i was at home again. So thankful to have this. and thankful sore eyes is slowly going away.

Adidas KOTR King of the Road 2010

From time to time, i will posting my recounts of previous runs. i have neglected or completely forgotten posting them on my blog. Running became a big part of my life last year and this year. i guess i got tired from mountaineering but I'm not saying I'm giving up on it or will ever not do mountain climbing again. I'm just going into the hype of what's happening in and around the city.

So for this year, Im joining KOTR because it will be a tradition for me. Although the registration fee has gone up from php500 to php850, Im still for it. I guess its meant to be since i had plans of backing out the last minute. I was told that there were no more slots left but because of Papa X, he worked around his contacts and we got our slots.

There have been a lot of negative comments regarding the way of organizing this event. I had none last year. In fact we had no problems claiming our race kits. That was the reward for being early i guess. We Filipinos do have the tendency of coming in late or doing things the last minute. Also, no accidents or untoward incidents during race time. We saw a lot of celebrities too! Im posting some of our previous photos.

he actually run. She said she was in the 10k category.

Analog devices friends and Karylle. Nice to know that she too is into running and has been in a lot of podiums too! Idol!

Cant wait for the Oct 24,2010! Hope to see a lot of celebrities again and fellow runners. :)

TMR:Taking part in the 10.10.10 history

The 10.10.10 " A Run for the Pasig River" made history last Sunday. People from all walks of life unite. SGV has confirmed that the official race starters are at 116, 892. The crowd gathered at three starting points, SM Mall of Asia, Ayala Avenue in Makati and CCp Complex. Team Maxim joined the 5k race distance. It was also nice seeing the debut of the Team Maxim jersey. Too bad i dont have all the moolah to get one. Maybe someday the company can also sponsor. :)

I heard a lot of positive comments regarding the race. Some said it was organized and peaceful despite the big turnout of people. Also, people actually cared! It was a great way to support mother earth. Mabuhay ang Pilipinas on this one!

Finishers band: Glad they used recycled materials. Not the baller/rubber kind.

On the low side, a lot has still to be done to save Philippine rivers. We must act now! Or else sayang naman ang ganda ng Pilipinas! Sayang din ang mga Ilog natin! What if those who joined the run would actually help pick up trash on the river itself. Would they or would they not?

Congrats again to all the finishers of the historic 10-10-10 Run for Pasig River! Hats off to all of you guys! You not only helped our Pasig River, but showed the world that Filipinos can care about the environment.

Good morning fellas! How was your weekend? :)

I'm still out of the office. So that means a lot of spare time on my hands. I'm currently on tita duties and sorting out stuffs such as videos. i am saving it now and plan to converting it on DVD so that when we are old, we can have all the memories stored.

Also, i want to be become productive. I just wasted two weeks of my time. I always wanted to do some money making online. 2 hrs or one hour a day is not a bad thing to earn some extra income. Also i need some practice. I plan to retire early, so i need some back up plans. Any ideas? Could someone help me.

Ilog Pasig

On my highschool yearbook, my ambition was to become marine biologist inorder to save the Ilog Pasig. 15 years ago, Ilog Pasig was a picture of disaster. It was the epitome of water pollution for me. Squatters and basura was a common site. Fast forward to now, it is a picture of hope. Thru the many efforst on non governemnt agencies, IlogPasig is slowly recovering.

i am happy that in my own little way, i can help rebuild the ilog pasig. not actively though since i have been sick of sore eyes for the past 12 days. boo! so sad!

Anyways, happy 10.10.10 Pasig Run! Im hoping for a fun and organized event!

separation anxiety

siguro ang mundo mo pag wala ako... bitterness emo..

ive been blogging almost religiously these past few days. that means im still sick with my sore eyes. its my second week. i tried to visit a doctor today but the doctor was out. ill try my luck again tomorrow morning. i hope ill have the meds to take away the redness in my eyes. i looked hideous the past days. so i dont have the luxury of going out on gimiks. too bad, birthday pa naman ng isang berks ko, inuman na sana ito.

speaking of inom, i miss my beer nights and yosi nights. this is my longest time without nicotine. this sickness has done me good. i got to spend time with my family, eat and be merry and of course walang bisyo.

the bad side is, walang exercise, lumalaking salbabida at puros shopping. howell, the fats i can burn in 12000 days, the money i can earn but the time i got to spend with my family, priceless! thank you Lord. ika nga, everything happens for a reason.

honga pala, i think im suffering from separation anxiety. had a big fight with somebody today. i think ako naman ang nang-away, i felt so bad trusting someone something private and intimate. i dont know, maybe separation anxiety nga is taking its toll on our relationship. siguro mahirap akong i-ispelling minsan pero dense naman akong tao. i dont want to be laughed at lalu na pag seryoso ako. hay ewan ko ba. deadmahin ko na lang. tama, deadmahan na lang to.

isa pang may separation anxiety ay ang aking pamangkin, parang ahas kung pumulupot sa akin. panay ang paglalambing kahit na 'ouch' ang aking mga mata.. hahaha! paro unti unti ko naman na siyang hinahanda at nagpapaalam na rin ako..

isang linggo na akong hindi pumapasok sa opis. bored na rin ako. so what does a girl like me have to do right, kundi mag shopping. ang pagbili ko ng mga gamit ay wala sa plano. naimpluwensyahan lang ni mama. at ako naman, very weak din pagdating sa pagshopping.

ang overnight/workout bag ko na the north face. sobrang like ko to, dahil una its TNF,magaan siya surprisingly; second, its purple. isa itong splurge or ung tipong hindi pinagisipang purchase. ora orada ang pagbili. pero matagal na rin akong naghahanap ng bag. and always going home empty handed. kasi naman anjan ang anghel dela guwardiya ko. at anjan din ang napakadaming gastos and kelangan ipunin para sa funds. anyways, mukhang matagal naman ang pagsasamahan namin ng bag kong ito. ung isang mahal na bag ko, ginamit ko siya ng 4 years na rin. not bad na rin. because im one cheapling and poor citizen ika nga..

here's another purchase. na-dispose ko na ang mga luma kong sapatos. making space for new ones or just dahil sobrang luma na rin sila. im leaning towards being more feminine. para maiba naman sa usual jeans and shirt na for the longest time ang naging default porma ko. aylab my doll shoes. its new, its leather ang its blue! yey!

medyo off topic ang quote ko sa isasalaysay ko ngaun. just the same, like ko pa rin ang quote na yan. :) miss ko na magwork. ung may accomplishment at the end of the day mas gusto ko pa rin ang bakasyon. siguro nadapuan ako ng sakit na ito pero magkaron ng pagkakataon makauwi sa aking pamilya. sobrang tagal ko na rin kasi hindi nakakauwi.

there's no place like home

oktubre na pala... oktoberfest na. maganda ang salubong sa aking ng buwan ng oktubre, isang mahabang bakasyon dulot ng sakit na sore eyes. akala ko safe na ako. hindi pa rin pala. imbes na labanan ko ang sakit na to, appreciate na lang dahil for the longest time, nakauwi ulit ako sa aming bahay. bahay for almost 24 years.

habang binabagtas ko ang marcos highway, isang magandang view ang aking nasilayan. yung bundok, parang punong puno ng mga diamante at mga alahas. ang mga ilaw kasi ay nagsisipagkislapan mula sa aking sinasakyan.

ang daming pagbabago sa baguio. naryan ang mas maraming motel kaya malamang sa malamang, uso na rin dito ang mga sakit na STD. nagsisulputan ang iba't ibang bars at mga coffee shops. indeed unti unti na ring nagiging sin city ang baguio city.

despite all of those things, the good things overlaps the bad ones. nothing beats the cool weather of baguio city. friendly ang fashionable people.

kaninang nasa SM ako, kitang kita ko dito ang isang ehemplo ng tamang customer service. ma-feel mo na inuuna nila ang kapakanan ng mga customers. hindi man cool ito but still,na-appreciate ko naman. dahil hindi lahat ng bayan sa pilipinas ay may magandang customer service.

bukas ang pam-pitong araw ko na may sore eyes. at yes, hindi pa rin ako makakapok sa trabaho. good luck sa payroll ko.
