The first sympton na nakita ko ay parang pimple siya na may tubig. And then it got bigger and bugger hanggang pumutok. When it was dried up, mukha na siyang pinaso ng sigarilyo.
We went to her pedia and she confirmed that it is mamaso. She prescribed bactroban an ointment na ipapahid 3x a day. It costs around 300 pesos at mercury drugstore. And also antibiotic since there was already a wound. The antibiotic is cefalexin to be taken 3x a day also fir ine week.
As i was researching the web, one can use VCO if you want to go all natural. It is also important to wash your hands whenever you carry your baby.
So far so good although there are still some mamasos coming out evry now and then. Sana mawala na. Sayang ang flawless skin ng baby.

ReplyDeletemay mamaso ngayon baby ko. 2days ko na nilalagay sakanya yung generic brand ng bactroban pero parang walang pagbabago. lalo pang dumadami. any other ways or ointment para mas mabilis gumaling yung mamaso ng anak ko ?
ReplyDeleteTo go natural, I use turmeric and virgin coconut oil for mamaso. Isang application lang di na sya nagbabasa talaga. Its dried up and began to heal. Aside from baby lotion, I use VCO sa toddler ko everyday. I would recommend it to everyone.
