3K/5K/10K/20KAfter months of lying low on organized races, I've joined SponsoRUN Mo, a scholarship fun run organized by the Alumni association of Dualtech. What's nice about this run is it aims to share giving quality education to the less fortunate young boys, and provide them with academic, technical and spiritual formation as we have experienced from their Alma Mater.
As soon as the invitation from our HR came out, i did not hesitate to join this event. I signed up for 10k run even without having a practice run since the Philippines is being attacked by storms. And of course, the company paid for our registration fees and transportation. i was sleepless the night before the event. Slept at 10 pm, woke up 11pm, then 12am and then 1 am and finally when it hit 2am, i got up and headed to bathroom to take a bath and then change my running gear. Obviously, i was that excited. One more thing is that I'm finally seeing Carmelray Business Park and i say that it is a beautiful and well maintained business Park. The roads are long and straight and best of all, no humps! I can also say that it is a sosy place beacause they have their own country club inside, The Mills Country Club.
